Free Mental Health and Addictions Workshops offered by the West Toronto Ontario Health Team (WTOHT) and Canadian Mental Health Association – Toronto (CMHA – Toronto)
There is a significant demand for mental health support among our communities. That’s why we are excited to partner with the Canadian Mental Health Association - Toronto Branch (CMHA – Toronto) to deliver free mental health workshops to anyone who needs them.
The workshops are designed to help you learn and develop skills to manage your mental health effectively. Facilitated by our talented team of Community Educators, we offer a safe and supportive space to help you gain a deeper understanding of mental health issues, build awareness around how mental health impacts you and give you the tools needed to improve your mental well-being.
These workshops are structured in four-part series and are offered throughout the year both online and in-person at locations across West Toronto. Each week, you will be provided with take-home learning to help you apply the lessons in your daily life, such as approaches on setting boundaries, healthy coping tactics, routine building and more. Following completion of all four workshops, you will receive a certificate from the WTOHT and CMHA – Toronto.
Our first series of workshops “Stress Management: Finding Balance in Life” will begin in-person on August 8 and online on August 10.
Note: Tickets are required for the registration process. Due to limitations on the registration platform, you must get a ticket for each workshop in a series.
